Children's Day Message from the Chief Commissioner

Children's Day Message from the Chief Commissioner

Happy Children's Day!

Today, we celebrate the greatest treasure of our nation – our children.

Each one of you carries within you a unique spark of potential, talent, and goodness. You are the dreamers, the innovators, the leaders, and the changemakers of tomorrow. The future of Seychelles will be shaped by your ideas, your actions, and the values you choose to live by.

As Scouts, and as young citizens, I encourage you to always be curious, to keep learning, and to never be afraid to dream big. Remember that success is not measured only by what you achieve, but also by how you treat others, how you serve your community, and how you rise after every challenge.

Believe in yourselves. Your voice matters. Your ideas matter. Your kindness matters.

To all parents, teachers, Scout leaders, and caregivers, thank you for guiding, encouraging, and inspiring our children to become confident, responsible, and compassionate individuals.

On this Children's Day, let us renew our commitment to creating a world where every child feels safe, valued, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential.

May you continue to grow in courage, wisdom, and happiness. Keep exploring, keep discovering, and keep shining your light for others to see.

The future is bright because it belongs to you.

Happy Children's Day!
