Cubs is where scouting starts. Meetings are built around games, stories and small challenges that teach teamwork without ever feeling like a lesson.
Cubs meet weekly in their local group. An evening might include a wide game, learning a new knot, working towards a badge, and a quiet moment at the end to reflect on what everyone learned.
Cubs work through activity badges covering everything from swimming and cycling to the environment and island heritage. Badges are earned, never given, and are presented in front of the whole pack.
Cubs take part in day trips, beach clean-ups and their first nights away from home at a pack holiday — usually the moment a child decides scouting is for them.
