This website is operated by the Seychelles Scouts Association. By using it you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
You may read, print and share the content of this website for personal, educational and non-commercial purposes. You may not use the site in any way that is unlawful, that interferes with its operation or security, or that attempts to gain access to areas or accounts you are not authorised to use.
Applications submitted through this site are requests to join, not confirmations of membership. Membership is confirmed only after a leader has reviewed the application and a place is available in the relevant section and group. We may decline an application, and we may ask for further information before deciding.
The person completing an application must be the parent or legal guardian of the young person named, and must have authority to give the consents on the form. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, and for telling us promptly when something changes — particularly medical information and emergency contact details.
Information about camps, training and other activities is published in good faith but may change. Dates, locations, costs and eligibility are confirmed by group leaders, not by this website. Participation in activities is subject to the association's own rules, including any separate consent or medical forms required for a specific activity.
Documents published in the archive are provided for information. Some are historical records that reflect the position at the time they were written and may no longer be current. Documents marked as restricted are for association staff and require a sign-in.
Photographs, text, the association's name and its emblems are the property of the Seychelles Scouts Association or are used with permission, except for the marks of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, which belong to that organisation. You may not use them commercially, or in a way that suggests the association endorses you, without our written permission.
If you believe something on this site infringes your rights, or if you appear in a photograph you would like removed, please contact us and we will deal with it.
We take care to keep this site accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors or that it will always be available. We may change or remove content, and we may suspend the site for maintenance, without notice.
Where we link to other websites, we do so for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Accounts for the administration area are issued to named individuals. Do not share your password or let anyone else use your account. Tell us at once if you think your account has been used by someone else. Accounts may be suspended where these terms are not followed.
